Welcome to the 5TH Annual Labor Day Golden Classic. The Labor
Day Golden Classic got its start in 2006-2007 when the
Miles College Golden
Bears and the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University faced-off at
Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Labor Day Golden Classic continues to grow as one of the Largest HBCU
Classic Football Games and on the Division II level.
In 2009 the Labor Day Golden
Classic was Ranked #8 of 27 HBCU Classic Match-Up Games by (Onnidan.com
Black College Sports Page).
